Overview

CourseLoop partnered with Exo Digital to enhance the Curriculum Publisher module, a critical tool that allows universities to publish their course catalogs on their websites. The project aimed to address client feedback, improve usability and accessibility, and refresh the visual design to ensure a cohesive, brand-aligned student experience. Our focus was on creating a more intuitive interface, improving accessibility, and ensuring the published content accurately reflected each university's unique brand identity.

We approached the Curriculum Publisher uplift by thoroughly analysing existing usability and accessibility challenges, conducting a heuristic evaluation, and aligning the design with the brand guidelines of each university. Our goal was to deliver a solution that not only met technical requirements but also enhanced the overall user experience.

Heuristic evaluation

We analysed the current user journey and design, pinpointing areas where the interface was confusing or difficult to navigate, ensuring a more intuitive user experience.

Accessibility audit

We assessed the module against accessibility standards, identifying and addressing barriers to make the platform more inclusive and user-friendly.

Client feedback integration

By incorporating recent client feedback, we ensured that the improvements directly responded to the needs and concerns of CourseLoop’s university partners.

Visual design uplift

We refreshed the visual design of the Curriculum Publisher module, focusing on brand cohesion, readability, and enhancing the overall user interface.

Colour and brand cohesion

We applied a 60-30-10 colour rule to ensure that the design was visually balanced, reinforcing each university's brand identity and enhancing readability.
